Procurement Specialist
Multiling Corporation looking for a Procurement Specialist to develop and deliver sourcing strategies to meet internal customer's needs. This full-time position is eligible for benefits and is located in downtown Provo.
Responsibilities
Build and manage relationships with key internal customers and suppliers
Guide data collection, analysis, and supplier qualification and measurement efforts
Build Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) models and supplier ranking matrix.
Effectively manage the entire competitive bid process including RF(X) facilitation, supplier qualification, and response analysis.
Develop, document, and validate negotiation strategy with team prior to negotiations.
Conduct negotiations and manage master contracts and SOWs upon contract execution.
Assess and encourage supplier diversity opportunities.
Act as lead among internal customers and stakeholders in negotiations with vendors.
Requirements
5-7 years experience buying or selling a key commodity with 2 years of experience in a leadership role.
Excellent analytical, organizational, verbal and written communications skills.
Develop negotiation strategies and assemble fact-based cases for use with suppliers.
Proficient in procurement systems and current industry standard PC applications.
Other related skills and/or abilities may be required to perform this job.
Preferred: Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.) certification, Institute of Supply Management (I.S.M.) affiliation, knowledge or experience with foreign languages.
