Supply Chain Reports to:
Manager ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Supervises department employees, priorities, and productivity in a freeze-dried manufacturing warehouse environment:
plans and assigns work, implements policies and procedures, and recommends improvements in methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions.
Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment or receives raw material by performing required duties to quality and productivity standards.
Ensures proper inventory, staging, and process flow of product throughout production facility.
Must operate Forklift as needed.
Other duties may be assigned that pertain to the classification.
Demonstrated job duties and knowledge listed are sum for the job classification.
Knowledge of all duties is to be cross functional but specific duties are assigned within available personnel.
REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:
A bachelor's degree in bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Business Administration, or a similar field is preferred.
Forklift Certification - will be certified by a Thrive Foods trainer.
Must possess a demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others.
An ability to think ahead, plan and prepare action plans to achieve results.
An ability to balance and achieve positive results in the areas of safety, quality, productivity, cost, and employee relations.
The possession of quality orientation and attention to detail, problem analysis and resolution.
In addition to, strong interpersonal and communication skills and an ability to manage multiple priorities.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS - Must be able to perform the following functions with or without accommodations:
Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and frequent fine finger dexterity.
50% or more sitting, 50% or more walking, and 40% or more standing.
The job is performed under occasional temperature variations and in a food manufacturing production environment.
Unrestricted visual and audio abilities are required for the safety of all employees.
The ability to lift to 40 lbs.
