Responsibilities:
Obtains profit contribution by managing staff and establishing and accomplishing business objectives.
Increases management's effectiveness by participating in recruitment, selection, orientation, training, coaching, counseling, performance reviews; communicating values, strategies, and objectives; assigning accountabilities; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; developing incentives; and cultivating a climate for offering information and opinions.
Accomplishes subsidiary objectives by establishing plans, budgets, and results measurements; allocating resources; reviewing progress; and making mid-course corrections.
Builds company image by collaborating with customers, community organizations, and employees; and enforcing ethical business practices.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
