The Receiving Center is a 7 day a week, 24 hour a day, 365 days a year mental health center that works with adults in crisis.
An HSW functions as a mentor/behavior technician who is responsible for the well-being of our clients.
On our team, their role is to greet clients, help with paperwork, inventory belongings, make meals, play games, conduct nightly safety checks, assist with minimal cleaning assignments and perform other duties as assigned.

(Performs all or some of the following) Provides one-on-one assistance and support Provides client supervision Manages crisis situations Teaches independent living skills Documents client behaviors Participates in staff and peer review meetings Assists with document reviews Monitors client behaviors and reaction to medications Assists to distribute medications Assures safety of the clients See included link for the full job description Minimum
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED and one (1) year post high school education in social work, psychology or a related field and one (1) year of general work experience, or an equivalent combination of related education and experience.
