Functions as the IT help desk by answering calls, resolving issues whenever possible, assigning issues to IT personnel, and following up on issues.
Responsible for assisting in administration of users, computers, servers, and other network devices as required.
Responsible to assist with and monitor Core processing as required.
Logs service calls with vendors.
Completes related records and reports.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES 1.
Assumes responsibility for timely and effective installation, operation, and maintenance of the computer system.
a.
Sets up and installs PCs, VDIs, servers, printers, and other devices as needed.
b.
Maintains, modifies, and enhances PCs, VDIs, servers, printers, and other devices as needed.
c.
Tests performance.
Studies and resolves operating problems.
d.
Perform maintenance and support for phone systems.
e.
Administrate and support users using Microsoft cloud admin services.
f.
Functions as the IT help desk by taking calls, resolving issues whenever possible, logging issues, and following up.
g.
Ensures that data communications are maintained, both local and remote.
h.
Monitors, troubleshoots, and ensures the proper completion of scheduled processes, including Daily and monthly processing when assigned.

Sets up users and assists in network administration.

Maintains systems' integrity and performance.

Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining good communication and working relations with PC users.

Responds to users' requests and follows through promptly.

Resolves problems and concerns.
Provides assistance, support, and training to users as needed.
Ensures that PCs meet users' requirements and installations are completed timely.

Communicates as much information as possible to users, including reasons for problems, project status, and deadlines.

Acts as a consultant and resource to users.

QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
High school graduate or equivalent.
College coursework in computer science or equivalent certification preferred.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:
Understanding of PC hardware.
Knowledge of Credit Union program applications.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
One year of experience working in a related position preferred.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
