CARPENTER I

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITIONResponsible for providing skilled craftsmanship for installation of formwork, finish carpentry and drywall.
Responsible for smoothing and finishing surfaces of poured concrete floors, walls, sidewalks, or curbs to specified textures, using appropriate tools (i.
e.
, hand or power tools, floats, trowels, screeds).
Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skill and experience with consideration given to internal equity.

Spread concrete to specified depth and workable consistencyE.
Level, smooth, and shape surfaces of freshly poured concreteF.
Finish concrete surfaces using power trowel, or wet and rub concrete with abrasive stone to create finishG.
Remove rough or defective spots from concrete surfaces using power grinder or chisel and hammerH.
Patch holes with fresh concrete or epoxy compoundI.
Mold expansion joints and edgesJ.
Clean work area and restock supplies and materials as necessaryK.
