00 PM Full Time, Year Round Position MUST BE AVAILABLE WEEKENDS & HOLIDAYS SUMMARYMaintains Sundance Resort public areas premises in a clean and orderly manner according to Sundance standards.
Assist housekeeping department as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
Responsible for checking in and out keys and radios from the safety office.
Scrubs, waxes, and vacuums floors; shakes out rugs and spot cleans carpets.
Washes baseboards, windowsills, door, panels, and woodwork.
Empties wastebaskets and ashtrays and transports trash to disposal area.
Responsible for upkeep of public areas bathrooms through replenishing toilet paper, paper towels, soaps, and daily cleaning of toilets, urinals, walls, sinks, counters, and floors in all public resort restrooms.
Keeps housekeeping closets clean and stocked at all times.
Responsible for removing all trash from the housekeeping closets at the end of each shift.
Maintains cleanliness of the floors, tables, chairs, and bathrooms of the Owl Bar.
Vacuums, dusts, and removes trash from the Front Desk on a daily basis.
Maintains all meeting/conference room spaces through sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and dusting on a daily basis.
Follows schedule of events given to public areas cleaner in order of priority to be cleaned.
Maintains employee bathrooms once/day:
disinfect sink and toilet, mop and replenish paper items.
Reviews Daily Events Report each morning to establish priorities for cleaning meeting space prior to event.
Reports all Resort maintenance issues.
Separates recyclables from trash and places them in appropriate receptacles.
Follows Sundance Housekeeping protocols for cleanliness and safety.
Shares the Sundance story of land preservation and environmental commitment as the occasion arises.

In order to best promote a positive, professional image that meets Sundance guest's expectations, employees are required to dress in a professional, conservative fashion that is appropriate for their area.
Please use the following as a minimum standard:
All aspects of the Personal Appearance policy (SPL#50) must be in compliance.
Employees are required to wear nametags at all times while on duty.
Clothing must be unwrinkled, clean, and in good condition (no rips, tears, or frays regardless of whether accidental or fashionably placed).
Blue jeans are permitted.
Men's shirts must be tucked in.
Appropriate skirt length is from the knee to the ankle.
A tailored fit is required of all clothing.
Tank tops, halter tops tube tops, and spaghetti straps are prohibited.
Sleeveless shirts are permitted for females.
Bare midriffs are prohibited.
Dress sandals are permitted for females.
Flip flops are prohibited in all areas.
Tennis shoes are permitted, but must be in good repair and not too flashy.
Fashion sneakers are allowed within department approved parameters.
The Housekeeping Uniform consists of the following:
Blue jeans or Khaki pants (without fancy embroidery)Sundance issued shirt, sweatshirt, or coat.
If an additional layer of clothing is needed for warmth while on duty, it must either be Sundance issued or it must be warn underneath the uniform and not visible (except in the collar area).
Hats may be worn, but must be PRE-APPROVED by the manager.

Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
