BEN is seeking a Applied Research Engineer to play an important role in our burgeoning fully remote AI team.
The ideal candidate is solution oriented, creative, curious, detailed, and values exceptional work.
Candidates must possess programming skills and a willingness to continuously learn and improve oneself.
If you have verbal, abstract and spatial reasoning, as well as the ability to mentally build complex systems and implement them with a sharp eye for detail, we want you.
Responsibilities Feature engineering as well as designing, training, and putting into production a variety of ML based solutions focused on computer visionArchitecting and building data pipelines for streaming analysis of video dataOwn full-stack technology, from data to product including the feedback loopImagine what is possible to accomplish with our data and computing resources and build prototype systems capable of demonstrating value.
Consulting with, and learning from, key stakeholders across the business to improve our products.
Building and maintaining datasets from internal and external sources, keeping them in sync with dependent databases and systemsWork with external vendors and consultants to leverage their data, expertise, and experienceQualifications & Skills Knowledge of Python and common data libraries especially Pytorch.
Experience in applied ML or ML systems/infrastructureExperience implementing technologies for video anomaly detectionExperience building and designing low latency API sExperience building reliable low latency ML microservicesBS in science or engineering preferred but not required.

$166,000 - $213,000 a yearWe are pretty flexible on the salary.
Salary will not be a constraint to candidates with exceptional research experience, and expertise.
In addition to the expected range listed, this role will be eligible for an annual bonus.
Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and location.
