# Monitoring Center Rep - Call Center (Provo, UT)
Vivint's Home Alarm Monitoring Center Rep position makes for a great full-time job for those living in and around the area of both Provo, Utah and Orem, Utah. In a very comfortable call center our Monitoring Reps take on multiple rolls: (1) Properly take and categorize incoming calls/signals from customers' alarm systems (2) Dispatch alarms to police, fire, and medical agencies. (3) Ensure customers' emergency needs are taken care of by emergency agencies. One of two monitoring stations our Provo Monitoring station is located in our corporate headquarters building, on the boarders of both Provo and Orem Utah near the mouth of Provo Canyon.

## Monitoring Center Rep - Call Center (Provo, UT & Orem, UT) - Duties and Responsibilities
Call Center Monitoring Reps will have a thorough knowledge of two-way alarms and how to access, disconnect and handle signals.
Verify, respond to and dispatch on emergency signals.
Notify customers of non-emergency signals.
Notify responders on emergency signals after dispatch.
Process basic data changes to customer accounts.
Receive and process inbound calls from agencies requesting information regarding emergency incidents.
Customer Service/monitoring Rep must be licensed to work in all states mandating registration/licensing. All Customer Service/monitoring Reps are required to pass a background check as mandated by the state.
Position requires weekend, holiday and shift work and may require mandatory overtime.
## Monitoring Center Rep - Call Center (Provo, UT & Orem, UT) - Required Skills and
Experience:
Knowledge of and familiarity with computers and Microsoft Office applications, and internet.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Ability to use discretion and problem analysis
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
One year customer service experience preferred
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Extensive training will be provided before taking emergency calls.
