Summary: Primary responsibility is to set-up and operate an Omega Digicon Press; Completes visual and specification quality checks on each retain and continuously monitors quality and press conditions. Maintains press efficiency and minimizes waste. Performs press maintenance and requisitions supplies; Adheres to all safety and housekeeping standards.


Essential
Responsibilities:
Sets-up job in accordance with job ticket and product specification documents. This includes die setups, embossing, hot foil stamp, spot and overall varnish and a number of other setups on the press.
Completes job start-up, quality sign-off, including specification and visual checks.
Operates press to produce product in conformance with customer specifications while minimizing waste and maintaining press efficiency.
Requisitions all supplies required to operate the press and produce quality labels, including inks, coatings, machine supplies, parts and tools.
Equipment Maintenance
Maintains and troubleshoots press and related equipment.
Responsible for preventative maintenance program; contracting with local AB Graphics professionals as needed and completing Maintenance Request Forms for equipment needing repairs.
Safety
Follows all safety guidelines for proper material handling, machine, and tooling use.
Maintains a clean and safe work environment
Reports any safety risks to supervisor or safety team representative.

Education and/or
Experience:

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required; Experience operating a digital press is preferred and minimum 2 years web and/or offset experience required.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
