Your Role and Responsibilities The role is to serve as a Team Leader for the Qualtrics Protective Services team, which provides executive protection services for Qualtrics. The Challenge Qualtrics is seeking a qualified candidate to join the Qualtrics Protective Services Team, as a Team Leader, for full-time employment in Provo, Utah. This position is responsible for providing executive protection services to Qualtrics Executive leadership. The successful candidate serves as a contributor in executive protection, executive security operations, logistical planning and reports directly to the Executive Protection Manager. The role will encompass daily protective operations and providing security to Qualtrics leadership, Qualtrics key stakeholders and the greater Qualtrics family. You will be participating in worldwide protective operations whilst providing logistical support, protective coverage and subject matter expertise to those that we protect. You will have the professional competency, knowledge, ability and technical proficiency to provide a safe and productive environment for our team on a global basis. Job Responsibilities Assist in the daily management of the Protective Services team as directed by the Executive Protection Manager. Lead protective operations in the field and act as a part of the leadership team for Qualtrics Protective Services. Assist in the training of Qualtrics Team members utilizing your subject matter expertise. Maintain 100% confidentiality in all client interactions. The position will require a signed nondisclosure agreement (NDA). Advance locations and complete site surveys for potential threats, ease of access and departure and understand the location in order to provide and apply an appropriate protective strategy. Coordinate the execution of executive / close protection processes, utilizing resources and whilst maintaining protective coverage. Assist in the writing and creation of Protective Services policy and processes. Develop, organize and work within comprehensive security plans for the clients executive-level meetings, travel, residences and general daily movements. Manage/conduct/oversee key employee and executive event security operations which have or could affect the client based upon known risks, the brand and/or people, property, product and proprietary information. Attend key stakeholder meetings when required in place of and with the Executive Protection Manager. Provide transportation for executive leadership as directed and requested by the Executive Protection Program Manager and organizational needs. This position requires travel both domestically and internationally. Basic Qualifications A military or law enforcement background. Alternatively, at least ten (10) years of private security experience (if you do not have military or law enforcement experience.) Executive Protection or Close Protection training from an industry recognized training provider. Work history that includes (but not limited to) protective security. Must possess a current and valid US Passport. Must be eligible for employment within the United States of America. Must be able to pass an extensive background check. Must live within driving distance or be willing to relocate to Provo, Utah. Must possess a valid and current drivers license free from penalties or endorsements. Must have demonstrated experience in highly dynamic environments with autonomy to act and execute decisions. Must have a strong and proven track record of responding quickly and effectively to critical and emergency situations. Must have a proven track record of maintaining client / protectee / principal privacy and 100% confidentiality. Must possess a strong ability to communicate well and form relationships with both internal and external key stakeholders, and across business, government and law enforcement organizations CPR and AED certified and current. Experience of advancing locations and completing site surveys in order to identify risk and plan a protective strategy accordingly. Ability to work varying times of the day and night as per the needs of the Protective Services program and its protectees. Preferred
Qualifications:
Preferred Candidates will possess some of the below attributes. Ten (10) years of Federal Law Enforcement experience FBI, US Secret Service, Diplomatic Security, Military, or similar US Federal experience as a Team Leader or management position within a team. Assigned to Military Protective Security Operations Units; for example, U.S Air Force OSI, Army CID, Marine Corps CID, or Navy NCIS. Demonstrated and recognizable experience of working with high profile or high net worth individuals in a protective role as a Team Leader or position of responsibility. Demonstrated history of traveling domestically and internationally whilst employed in a protective services role whether that is the public or private sector. EMT certification or other real world experience in trauma care.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Government & MilitaryEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
