Summary:
This position is responsible for the correct assignment of shipping methods to packages being shipped as well as ensuring that the package meets the company's standards for appearance, quality and security.
The Shipping Coordinator also makes sure that orders leave the facility the same day they are deposited in the shipping area and that the shipped orders are executed in the shipping system.
If an error is encountered during the shipping function, the Shipping Coordinator is responsible for correction of the error, prior to shipping.
This position also handles items that are returned as undeliverable, by contacting the appropriate Account/Project Manager.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Correctly ship all boxes to proper designation (Dimensions, proper ship method, and ensure properly sealed) Apply correct label to box Proper escalation of any unresolved shipment issues to the Supervisor, Account/Project Manager or IT (As needed) Execute all reships and inventory orders daily Complete returns log daily and e-mail to appropriate personnel Monitor returns log for special instruction from Account/Project Managers and take appropriate action Maintain cleanliness of shipping area Close out shipping computers nightly Education and
Experience:
High School diploma or GED equivalent Previous shipping experience with knowledge for UPS/FedEx systems is a plus Qualifications, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:
Ability to communicate, understand and follow instructions with minimal supervision Ability to communicate (Read, speak, write, understand) in English Ability to lift minimum of 50 lbs Basic computer skills Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations Detail oriented and Safety conscious Able to stand or be on your feet for extended periods of time Available for weekend work shifts & overtime Forklift experience preferred, but not required.
Must be willing to obtain certification Ability to build effective relationships Ability to develop creative solutions to client and internal problems and challenges Ability to contribute to building a strong and positive team spirit as well as align with GSP values Physical demands:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
