Provo City is looking for an Executive Office Assistant to provide senior administrative support work for the Provo Airport Division Director and staff.

87 per hour (depending on experience) Essential Duties:
Perform secretarial, clerical, related incidental, and specialized duties.
Assist airport division director with confidential tasks and documents.
Compile information and figures for special reports.
Edit and submit reports for review.
Use specialized software.
May act as intermediary between the airport division director and the public, coworkers, or other customers.
Receive work from various sources and reviews or processes it for administrative use.
Organize, prioritize, and coordinate office production into a usable form for management's analysis, review, or release.
Submit personnel action forms via the online workflow system.
Act as the airport's administrator for the City's cloud-based performance evaluation system.
Handle payroll-related duties including correcting missed employee punches, adding or adjusting exception times, verifying the number of punches and timeclock times with employees, submitting payroll adjustment forms.
Training employees on timekeeping requirements and the system, and monitoring personnel and payroll records.
Assist in overseeing office workflow by scheduling work.
Assist in maintaining department policy and procedure on an inter and intra departmental level.
Interpret and enforce policy established by the department and division directors.
Design, implement, and monitor recordkeeping and reporting systems.
May train, supervise, and evaluate lower-level secretarial/clerical staff as necessary.
Assist in formulating, preparing, and monitoring department or special budgets.
Perform bookkeeping and general departmental accounting work.
Assist other staff members as needed and perform other related duties as required.
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
Four years of secretarial experience.
OR an equivalent combination of job-related education and experience substituting each one year of post-secondary education/training for six months of experience .
A valid, lawful Driver License.
Microsoft Office Suite or other specialized software experience may be required.
Pre-employment Screening:
Prior to appointment, applicant will be required to successfully pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
Non-disclosure may result in dismissal.
Applicants with unsatisfactory drug screen results will be ineligible for appointment or application to any Provo City position for a minimum period of six (6) months.
