System Engineer IV

Nu Skin Enterprises is looking for a strong Web Operations Systems Engineer. This position will help set direction and scope for the team for the future growth of our web-based operations. Responsibilities will include implementation of platforms for global deployment of web-based sales sites, working with development groups to allow continuous integration, and ensuring enterprise class, robust operations.
Key
Responsibilities:
- Administering, upgrading and supporting corporate monitoring infrastructure
- Administering and supporting corporate Apache servers
- Supporting the web development infrastructure
- Automating common configuration and deployment tasks
- Supporting critical systems by being an on-call
- Working well with others, documenting knowledge, presenting cross training to team
Level 1
Qualifications:
- Required - Experience administering and configuring web servers (such as Apache) 2-5 years
- Required - Experience using one or more programming/scripting languages (including, but not limited to: PHP, Bash)
- Required - Experience running a corporate web site
Required - Experience using and administering Linux systems, 3-5 years
Self-motivated (capture work request, complete, and report)
- Required Ability to manage tasks on a project, i.e. complete a successful upgrade or migration.
- Required able to perform 24/7 on call for one week once a month.
- Desired - Experience administering one or more application servers (such as Weblogic, Tomcat, Websphere and/or other servlet containers, etc.)
- Desired - Experience using load balancing and rewrite rules (such as NetScaler)
- Desired - Experience working with Amazon Web Services
- Desired - Experience using and administering monitoring tools (such as Nagios)
- Desired - Experience using SQL and database technologies (such as MySQL, Oracle)
- Desired - Experience using one or more programming/scripting languages (including, but not limited to: Java, Perl, Ruby)
- Desired - Experience using and administering one or more content management systems (such as Adobe Day/CQ, Drupal, etc.)
- Desired - Experience using and administering version control systems (such as Git, SVN, etc.)
- Desired -Experience with monitoring and metrics collection/storage tools such as LogStash, Graphite, RRDtool
Level 2
Qualifications:
- Experience Leading user groups and technical projects
- Project management skills to organize and schedule teams
- Implementing new technologies, platforms, and designs
- Development, upgrade and operational planning and implementation experience
- Experience with automated configuration management tools such as CFEngine, Chef, and Puppet

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
