Special Education Director
Harmony Educational Services is looking for a licensed Special Education teacher to serve as a special education director to oversee the delivery of SpEd services to distance learning students across the state. The candidate will:
Have experience with Utah State guidelines and Federal IDEA and 504 law
Have experience managing a small work group
Be familiar with UT state UPIPS requirements
Skilled in creating IEPs and conducting corresponding meetings
Willing to work to develop a distance education SpEd services model
Train company personnel in SpEd process, including IEP accommodations, Child Find and testing
The candidate must possess or be able to obtain a Utah State teaching license for k-12 with an endorsement in Special Education.
This position may require some travel within the state periodically.
