These travel cases are designed for more than transporting 12" vinyl, though that's what I used them for primarily. Both are professional touring equipment and are built as such: Durable, heavily padded and highly protective, and designed to withstand countless shows and all the beatings music gear is subjected to on the road. The Ortofon bag is made for carrying a DJ mixer and around 20 records - the missing piece in your deck transportation setup, carrying your mixer alongside the two turntables you already have in flight cases (see my other listing!). It also works perfectly for carrying around 50 records - and is great for quickly flipping through your tracks on the fly, with its flip-back top opening. It's incredibly beefy, with thick 1/2-inch padding inside every military-grade nylon panel, and huge, seemingly indestructible zippers. It has around ten pockets designed specifically for various pieces of DJ equipment (cartridge boxes, headphones, cables, etc). It comes with a smaller insert bag for protecting your vinyl and keeping it separate from your mixer, should you choose to go that route. The Gigskinz case is a true flight case, designed as an airport traveler and airplane carry-on, with wheels and a telescoping pull handle. It's also a modular, configurable case with removable / adjustable plush faux fur liners and walls, and top and front panels that unzipper on the sides to lay all the way open like garage doors, transforming the bag into a portable record shelf which gives you unobstructed access to the 70 or so records it carries. Check out the photos - it's really unique and super flexible! Finally, for any extremely old skool heads out there who actually know rave gear from waaaaay back in the early days (I'm talking 1990s!), there's a green Caffeine record bag which I'll take offers on. It's truly a vintage collectors item, so I don't even know where to begin on an asking price.
