Made in Jamestown, New York by the Union-National Fine Furniture Co., this curved front chest was purchased from a couple that brought it from Boston--it had been in their family for 30+ years. It needed cosmetic repair and foot reconstruction. It it solid walnut with a heavy Mahogany figured veneer. It is very well built with excellent craftsmanship and has dust cover shelves between drawers. The drawer pulls alone are worth a considerable amount of money. These sell on 1st dibs and Chairish in the $3000 range but I do not want to deal with shipping. Two drawer pulls were missing so the bottom drawer does not have original hardware. All other drawers do.It is almost impossible to lift with drawers inside. Please bring a vehicle that can store the drawers and main frame of the chest. Bring help to load.
